Discovery Museum

My mom and I drove down to SLC to pick up my Aunt and decided to stop by the Kids Discovery Museum while we waited. I have heard all about children's museums and have wanted to take Isley to one forever- never again!! There were so many kids and germs and poopy pants!! ICK! There were little dirty kids running all over and almost trampled Isley a few times. She did have a blast though- her favorite were the trucks and water exhibit. Just glad I could smell the chlorine pumping through water features! Anyway- we had a great time in SLC and Isley did amazing on the car ride down. I was a little worried, but she was happy beeping at trucks and reading her books. We had a blast with my Aunt and hope we can make the trip up to Portland again this fall. Riding the pony!

Scrubbin Bubbles

Who doesn't love a nice warm bath? Isley loves to take a bath. After dinner we ask if she wants a bath and she runs to the tub yelling "bath". She picks out her favorite toys for the night and throws them in. She splashes and plays, but doesn't move from her bum. Then we lube her up with lotion, Corey combs her hair for 10 minutes (as she wrestles around) and then we play till bedtime.

We bought a little flip camera and so I have been taking lots of short videos of Isley. I will start posting the links on the blog if you want to see what a little cutie Isley is.
She loves to dance, but can't dance alone so whenever she turns on music and starts dancing she makes Corey and I both dance. She yells at us if one of us stops. She especially loves to dance to this Taylor Swift "Fearless" Valentine's card we gave to Corey. She opens it up and starts dancing then shouts "Mama, Dada" until we start dancing too. She loves to dance in the car- which consists of raising her arms in the air and shaking back and forth.
