Some pics

Just some pics of the girls. They are both keeping me happy at home. I don't know how to rotate the pics so sorry.
Girls are doing well- growing all the time. Isley is a little sponge these days- counting to 20, saying ABC's and learning new songs, animals, words. She is super smart- or so we think so.

Little Goat

So things are going great. Isley is super with her baby sister and helps out whenever she can. Still a mommy's girl, but shares me with Quinn well.
Quinn is doing well- already gained over a pound in three weeks- such a little moose. Sleeps at nights really well and starting to stay awake in the day a little more. She makes all sorts of grunts and growels at night- we think she sounds like a little goat in our room- which takes Corey back to hunting season with his goats in the mountains! HA!
Both girls are doing great and I love staying home with them. Isley is pretty content staying at home with us too!
Glad it is a mild winter so we can get out for walks and a few runs. Our double jogger just got here today so we will be trying it out this weekend! Can't wait to finally be able to get out around the greenbelt everyday!

Quinn Corey

She finally made her debut. Everyone says that the second baby comes a lot faster, well not in our case. Had some false labor the Saturday before she was born that got us all fired up. Just as we were packing for the hospital they stopped. For the next few days contractions came and went on a regular basis. Finally on Wednesday after work my contrations held steady and we called my mom at midnight to head to the hospital. At the hosptial I didn't progress AT ALL. When they told me I should just go home, I was really upset- shed a few tears then packed up and left.
We got home at 11am and I had contractions all day long about 5-10 minutes apart. After no sleep the night before we jumped into bed to catch some much needed zzz's. At 3:30am I was awaken with some really strong contractions. I held out at long as I could, got some work in, took the dogs for a walk and finally at 6:50am I told Corey we needed to head back to the hospital. We dropped Isley off at daycare and raced to the hospital. Expecting our old room, we were told they were almost full!!! Luckily they had a room left for us. I was admitted and within 4 hours Quinn Corey made her debut at 7 lbs 7 oz and 20.25 inches. Just perfect- and it only took 36 hours!
She is doing well and Isley is adjusting great. Having mom at the hospital was the worst part for her, but I got out early and so she only had one night without me.
We are all doing well- Quinn is happy and healthy, Isley is a great helper and still on the go. Our family is now complete and perfect (we will not be trying one more time for a boy... in case you were wondering).

Baby Quinn.

Isley holding her baby sister and giving kisses.

Isley's "cheese please" face.

Sledding

We had great plans to take Isley sledding this winter, but the weather had other plans. We decided that we would chance it anyway and take her to the foothills. Of course I forgot the camera, but sledding through the weeds was not her thing so after to small runs we hiked back to the car. Here she is getting ready to hit the slopes.

Xmas

Xmas was wonderful as usual. We hustled from house to house, ate too much and opened lots of wonderful gifts. Isley had a blast, but was worn out by the end of everything. This year seemed to be Vandal themed- Vandal shirts, Vandal pants, Vandal blankets. As a result Isley is getting really great at the Vandal Fight Song. I spell out I-D-A-H-O and she chants "Idaho, Go, Go, Go!
The pictures are the best, but they will have to do.
Her train set.

Play-Doh. Daddy bought a 24 pack that will be sure to last for months and months.

Matching Vandal pants- Corey also got a pair!

Vandal pants and a cutie for xmas.

Tree Decor

Just some snap shots of us decorating our lovely tree. I am all about the live trees (much more Green) and we didnt' have time to cut one down this year, so we picked one up at the Y. It is just our style! Isley helped decorate this year and didn't break any of the plastic bulbs. Don't mind the hair- we just got back from swimming.

Fly Tying

Isley loves to help daddy do anything with fishing or hunting. She loves to play with the deer sheds, jump around in his tent, fish on the stairs and her new find.....helping daddy tie flies.
