Summer on the Steps

Isley loves to be outside...not sure where she gets that from-HA! Every time she hears a door open, she drops what she is doing and makes a beeline for the door. And if you don't let her go out she gets mad and lets us know. We are enjoying the last days of summer- soaking up as much sunshine as we can. She is also getting into things more and more- I'll be working in the kitchen and here a little rustle in our bedroom and turn around to find her carrying the toilet paper, loose end, around the house. The simple things when you are little...

Going to the Fair

We took Isley to the East Idaho State Fair! She loved it...a little too much- she wouldn't eat while we were there because she didn't have time. We even offered her some tiger ear covered in honey butter and cinnamon-n-sugar and she refused it. She was overwhelmed with all of the stinky animals and overfed goats in the petting zoo.
She had so much fun that my mom and I went again the next day...and she still had a blast.
Loving the baby goats.
Saying "Hi" to the sheep.

Century Ride

Corey did a century bike ride a few weeks ago. I had a tri that morning so after my tri Isley and I went to cheer for daddy. He started at 7:30am and rode 100 miles to finish at 1:30pm. He said it wasn't so bad except for the 15-20mph head wind on the last 40 miles. He did awesome!

Splish, splash!

My mom and I took Isley to this water park in Rexburg ( I had to be in Rexburg about 4 times in the past 2 months- more than I have ever been there or ever want to be there). Baby water parks totally gross me out- little kids peeing and other stuff in the water and then drinking it all up- ugghhh! At least I could smell the chlorine. Anyway- there is a splash park we took Isley to and she had a blast. She would only touch the bubbler, but loved watching the other kids and kept laying by the boys. It was pretty cute, one of my good friends happened to be there as well and her little boy was warming up on the cement and Isley went over and sat next to him. She kept inching her way closer until he finally had enough and left- then she found another unsuspecting boy and did the same to him. I think she likes the boys because day care is mostly boys.

Isley and Cole.
These are the bubblers- the only ones should would go near.
I held swooshed her through a bigger one and she liked that, but wouldn't get near it without me.
