Hair Today

Isley's hair is out of control, but I don't want to cut it- plus there is no way to cut it without making her like like I paced a bowl on her head and trimmed around it. HA! So the solution... a pony tail on top.
Before (she is saying "Cheeese" here)
Before- all over the place
Before- sersiously?!?!
After- she can see and looks like a sweetheart.

Bummer

I bought some window stickers for the holidays (about our only decorations- we don't even have a tree!). I thought Isley would love to look at them and boy does she. She plays with them and pulls them off the window. I saw these in her hair and almost freaked out thinking we would have to cut her hair off to get them out, but luckily they peel right off.

We are all about letting her get a little air time for her bum, but keep her pants on just in case. She is just so little that they barely stay on with a diaper on, let alone without. It is quite possibly the cutest plumber bum I have ever seen!

Turkey Day

Her favorite spot on the stairs. Talking on the phone.

PBJ

PBJ toast is so yummy and sticky! Sometimes she just licks the bread and doesn't even enjoy the bread.

Potty Time

Decided it was time to invest in a potty to start getting Isley use to the idea...so far she knows what potty means...go get the frog and play on it....HA! It's a start!

Pigtail

Her hair is long enough for a pigtail! She won't keep it in one, but that is another story. She looks so grown up with her hair up....

Pumpkin Pie

Our little turkey was a pumpkin for Halloween! I wanted her to be one last year and it didn't happen so I had my mind set on a pumpkin this year. I thought it would be hilarious to dress the whole family up as pumpkins, but Corey didn't go for it- he hates dressing up. We just did the family thing this year since she really doesn't know what it going on and is not allowed to have candy. She had a few little bites and that was enough- she doesn't have a big sweet tooth just yet.
Walking up to the first house- my mom's.

This was her Halloween attire.

Family Pics

We finally had our first family pictures taken. Our good friend who also did Isley's 6 mo. pics took these and did a great job! We lucked out and had beautiful weather and gorgeous scenery. To see the rest visit her blog at http://www.brittneywoodphotography.blogspot.com/

Pumpkins

We took Isley to the U-Pick Pumpkin Patch. She had a blast pushing the wagon, playing in the dirt and chasing the resident kitty. We were a little unimpressed with everything- maybe it takes a heavy beating on Saturday so Sunday it is not up to par?? We walked around and found a few pumpkins, but ended up not taking any home. Maybe this weekend we will find some at the Farmer's Market.

Hitching a ride in. First pumpkin that we thought about.
She pushed that wagon all over the garden.
Playing with the kitty.
Mom and munchkin.

D

I do not put bows in her hair, dress her in tutu's, pretend she is a princess, plaster her in pink, or coordinate her from head to toe- I do, however, put her in political shirts and prance her around deeply conservative Idaho Falls. My little democrat-in-training!

Trip to the park

Isley and I took the dogs to the park to enjoy a cool fall day. I took my camera to snap some shots of the Munchkin. It is hard to get good "photog" pics with just me. I can't seem to keep her attention behind the camera and if I do, she starts running toward me and I just get shots of her forehead. Anyway- love these pics of her. On the way back she was enjoying her snacks and decided to share with Koal. It ended up on Koal's nose and was to priceless to pass up.

Hungry Monster

We finally gave Isley a fork to start using. She loves it- makes her feel so big. Unfortunately, she isn't the best at stabbing the food yet so we stab it for her. She did manage to get a couple pieces of pasta on there tonight. When she is really hungry she just sets the fork down and uses her fingers- typically for blueberries, avocados, broccoli. She is also a bit of a vegetarian and not by my doing. She just doesn't like much meat- she does however love my veggie patties.
I think it is due to her love for animals- we just discovered that she even loves animals on TV, especially the hunting channels. We don't let her watch TV, but Corey was watching bear hunting and she saw the bear running around and started squealing and pointing and laughing. Too cute- until it got shot and didn't move and she lost interest.

Truck tough

Isley loves to play with her trucks! She makes a cute little vroomm noise too.
