River

Isley loves to walk around anywhere. We were headed to dinner and took a little stop at our Green Belt to chase the ducks and race around. I actually took my camera to catch some pics of the turkey and us.
This first picture is hard to tell, but Isley LOVES vegetables. She will eat cucumbers like apples, broccoli like it is candy and I made her some cauliflour and she devoured it. This is her eating cauliflour before dinner- she is a big snacker when she gets home from daycare. Sometimes I wonder how her little belly can hold so much food.

Mama and Turkey at the falls.
Checking out the geese.

Sitting on the horse bench. IF has a really fun "Art you can sit on" program and have about 30 cute benches around the river and downtown. Daddy and Turkey on the Rattlesnake bench.

Catchin Fish

Fishing trip number 2 was a a success. Uncle Darin took us in his new truck, which Isley loves. We packed the whole lot of us and headed down to the kids pond for round two. This time we took the right bait and caught 3 fish with a few more bites. Isley had a blast again, but didn't want to get too close to the fish. She eased up a bit by the 3rd fish.
She still loves the dogs- Koal is her favorite. Probably because she is not as big or active as Ash.

Loving on Koal.

Helping the boys fish.

This was the first fish. She loved the whole catching process, but didn't want to get too close to the fish and let daddy know.

Get it Daddy, get it.

Fishing

Took the Turkey fishing at our local kids pond. She had a blast eating snacks, running, throwing rocks and playing in the dirt. We didn't catch any fish, but she likes fishing so far..... have to keep going till we catch one.
She snuck the bait marshmallow while daddy wasn't looking.

The mallow.

My 17.5 week belly pics. Still in all my normal clothes, but will probably have to start unbuttoning my pants in the next few weeks.

Baby Birds and Baby Dolls

These are the baby swallows we let nest on our front window. Thought it would be fun for Isley to watch them grow and perch on our window seal. They just barely started coming out of their nest and doing this. The parents sometimes get a little fired up and dart around, but no attacks yet.
She has been on love with swimming this summer. If she sees her suit- she insists on wearing it, over all her clothes.

So big news....we are welcoming a little bundle of joy at the end of January!!!! I was sick for about 9 weeks, but am finally getting over that. It was bad- vegetables were not appealing at all, nor were most foods so we didn't have too many home cooked meals and were eating out a lot! But just as our garden is gearing up, veggies are ok again.

We are trying to let Isley know there is a baby in mommy's tummy and she rubs it for a while and then hits it for a little while...

She likes to drag her stuffed animals on the dogs leashes- the other day she put the choke chain on her only baby doll. It was a bit disturbing, but pretty funny. Guess we will have to keep a close eye on the baby when he comes (don't know the gender and won't until the baby comes, just calling a he like we did with Isley).

Running

This is a picture of us hiking with the goats. We took Isley and 2 goats- she let us pack her for a while then insisted on walking (which goes really slow as she investigates every bug and plant she sees). Heise Half-Marathon

Corey on his 10-mile leg of the To Bone and Back Relay. Ususally teams consist of 8 people (5-miles each) but we had a 4-person team and each took 10 miles. The course is really hilly and by the time we ran it was toasty out. We placed 5th overall out of 100+ teams.

Bone and back relay.

Puppies

So glad the weather is beautiful out and we are spending all sorts of time outdoors. We play in the front and back and at the garden all the time.
The first pic was Isley's sorting of my shoes. She is getting over her shoe phase, but it lasted about 3 weeks and besides her walking around the house in my shoes she would also organize them. Sometimes kids do the strangest things.

Isley loves to walk the dogs, feed the dogs, pet the dogs, throw the ball for the dogs and water the dogs. They seem to enjoy it too- especially when she feeds them because she gives them seconds and thirds.

Jumparoo

Isley loves to play in her crib. She gets mad if we take her out to quickly after nap time and has not had a chance to throw all hr blankets out and bounce around. We typically have to be in the room watching her and throwing her the balls or she gets mad. At least she hasn't tried to get out yet!!
